Three dogs running across the meadow at Bramble & Bark at golden hour, with the barn behind them

Boarding and daycare for dogs who’d rather be outside.

Six acres of meadow in Larchmont, suites with real beds, and a team that knows every dog by name. Overnight stays from $58, daycare from $28.

See the suites

Open today 7:00am to 6:30pm. Staff on site overnight, every night.

Every guest sleeps in a room, not a run.

Choose a suite, tell us how your dog likes things, and we take it from there. Two dogs from one family share for half price on the second.

Prices per night. Holiday weeks add $10.

Spa add-ons for overnight guests

A bath before pick-up, a nail trim, a de-shed. We don’t take grooming bookings on their own, but we’re happy to add them to a stay. Ask in chat and we’ll price it for your dog.

The same day, every day.

Dogs like knowing what comes next. So does everyone who drops one off.

  1. 7:00

    Doors open

Daycare drop-off starts. Overnight guests are already out for a first sniff of the meadow.

  2. 8:30

    Breakfast

Everyone eats in their own room, on their own food, with whatever routine you told us about.

  3. 10:00

    Play groups

Groups of six to eight, matched by size and energy. A handler in every yard, always.

  4. 12:30

    Quiet hours

Lights low, music on. Even the ones who say they don't nap, nap.

  5. 3:00

    Meadow walk

The long loop through the orchard and along the brook. Seniors take the short loop.

  6. 5:30

    Report cards

Photos and a few lines about the day land in your inbox before you leave work.

  7. 9:00

    Lights out

A staff member stays overnight in the cottage wing. Webcams stay on for you.

Eleven of us. Your dog will know three by smell.

Most of the team has been here for years. These are the people you’ll meet at drop-off.

  • Rosa Delgado standing at the barn door with a border collie

    Rosa Delgado

    Owner, on site since 2011

Started Bramble & Bark with two kennels and a borrowed pickup. Still does the 7am shift most days.

  • Theo Marchetti kneeling in the play yard with a corgi

    Theo Marchetti

    Head of daycare

Certified in canine body language. The person who decides which play group your dog joins, and why.

  • Priya Nair in the cottage hallway holding a dachshund

    Priya Nair

    Overnight lead, vet tech

Sleeps in the cottage wing four nights a week. Handles medication, seniors, and the nervous first-timers.

We were the people who never boarded. Then our vet said try Bramble & Bark. Rosa sent a video of Mabel asleep on the cottage sofa the first night, and that was that.

The daycare report cards are the highlight of my workday. Theo moved Otis to a calmer group before I even asked.
Marcus B., Otis, 2, boxer
Our senior beagle needs two meds and a heating pad. Priya handled it like it was nothing. He came home relaxed, which never happens.

Things people ask.

If yours isn’t here, the front desk chat knows our policies, our prices, and what’s free on the calendar.

Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella, all current. We also ask for a canine influenza (H3N2/H3N8) vaccine for boarding stays. Bring your vet records to your first visit or ask your vet to send them to us.
